Wild Society

Guided backpacking camps in Olympic National Park

Partnership Programs

We partner with community groups, organizations, and schools to provide opportunities for people to get outside and engage with the natural world. We are always looking to establish new partnerships, please contact admin@wildsociety.org.

Community Partnerships

Mentoring Urban Students and Teens (M.U.S.T.)

  • Annual spring and fall backcountry adventures with the staff, coaches, and mentors of the M.U.S.T. program.
  • Check out these amazing videos participants made of their canoe adventure and backpacking overnight adventure.

African Community Housing and Development (ACHD)

  • Annual camping trip with their 3rd – 5th grade after school program.
  • Students, staff and parent chaperones experience sleeping, cooking and learning outdoors with Wild Society guides.

Thank you Wild Society for showing us the forest and also giving us s’mores. Thank you for making us laugh and giving us a nice story. Thank you for making us great food.

Organization Partnerships

Rethink Outside

  • After participating in their amazing storytelling workshop, Wild Society partnered with fellows to participate in our Winter Speaker Series.

Leadership Kitsap

  • Some of Kitsap County’s up and coming leaders approached Wild Society with the fantastic idea to host our first ever community day hike! A community event filled with interactive hiking, community donations, and our Junior Naturalists leading the way!

School Partnerships

Odyssey Multiage Program

  • In 2021, Wild Society organized outdoor education field trips for grades 1st – 6th. Students and teachers met our guides at a local park for three hour hikes filled with observation and exploration.

Beyond current programming, we are developing a fun and engaging natural history and wilderness awareness curriculum to use in cooperation with schools and other groups. If you’re interested in developing a class or program with us, please get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
