At Wild Society, it is our intention to provide the best possible experience for our participants and staff. We ask everyone to follow principles of safety, inclusion, and respect.
Our staff are trained in conflict management and prevention. Should an incident arise, staff will work with those involved to resolve. If the participant is unable to change their behavior, show basic respect for others and the environment, or comply with program rules and policies, Wild Society staff reserve the right to dismiss a participant from the program. If a participant is dismissed, there will be no refund of tuition.
The following are prohibited and will result in disciplinary action, and possible dismissal from the program:
- Violence of any kind
- Actions that compromise the safety of others
- Harassment, bigotry, discrimination, or persistent disrespect of others
- Possession of alcohol or illegal drugs
- Engaging in any sexual activity
- Repeated teasing, taunting, or threatening behavior
- Behavior with the intent to harm others or oneself
- Refusal to follow directions, rules, and policies
This is not an exhaustive list, and dismissal is at the discretion of Wild Society. All Wild Society staff are required to report any incidents to the Director’s and will be asked to submit an incident report.
